I just recently installed an AJE Racing tubular k-frame in my 1971 Demon. It is the older style with that has the lower A-arm mounted on the top of the k-frame. I don't have a 440 motor in it yet, waiting to mount the motorplate.

1.) Does anyone have a similar set-up that can tell me what length of shocks they used? I am leaning towards QA1 adjustable with 400 pound springs for better weight transfer. Right now I have a 10" solid bar mocked up to support the front-end. AJE wants me to but there shock kit, so they supply me with any info.

2.) I am mounting a Mancini motorplate and would like to install bushings to reduce vibration to the frame. The motorplate will be attached to a Magnumforce forward strut brace at the top and a L-bracket on the bottom. Has any one tackled something like this? I was considering using a polyurethane A-arm bushings on each side of the motorplate set between solid mounting tabs..

Any information would be greatly appreciated on either of the subjects.

Thanks.
