I don't know why this crossed my mind, but I see where the number of 1965 Barracuda's were produced, and how many were Formula S cars. Is there a breakdown of the colors that came out. Mine is gold on gold.
It's not important, just something I thought about.
Inquiring minds want to know.
 
From what I've been told, no breakdowns exist for colors on the 66's. The closest thing are powertrain and model designation.
 
OK Mike. I don't know why that bothered me. Most of the Formula S models, I have seen are gold. I haven't seen very many, but thanks for the answer

I believe I read 5,400, but I'll have to look up the break down of auto. I don't put a lot of truth into it, But if you look at early valiant barracuda site, it only shows 34 on the road today. I know in North Carolina I have seen 1 on the road, 1 at Rockingham Drag Strip at the car show, and 2 including mine under restoration.
