Does anyone know what color mopar painted the underneath of their cars in 67?
If the car was not undercoated, was the underneath the body color or just black?

If black, was it just flat black or gloss black?

I might be ordering things tomorrow, so any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Matt

So if I wanted to paint the underneath of the car just to protect it, what color black should I use to look originalish. Flat black?

From the factory the car would be primer underneath with over spray from the body color.

because of age and the vunerability of rust , my vote would be to preserve that mopar, i recomend undercoating it, just a thought

Thats my thinking exactly
I was planning on painting the underneath of the car with POR 15 flat black paint. Any thoughts on that?

Eastwood has a good undercoating product, Chassis Black, either in rattle can or in quarts.

If your not worried about factory look then I agree, take some extra steps to protect it. I usually use 3M rubberized undercoating.
