These parts came off a running 318 that was dressed up like a mid-60s 273. I offered these as a set in 2019 and didn't get any takers. Now willing to separate.

Intake manifold is number 2536563. $125 plus shipping

Valve covers are in good shape and have the aluminum fins. $200 for the pair plus shipping

Carb is a Carter AFB 4-bbl 4295S. $125 plus shipping

The pie tin is nice and shiny, with just a few minor pits. Includes the base parts. Comes with a new Commando 273 decal. $175 plus shipping SOLD

Parts are in St. Paul, Minn.

Yes. Can't remember the exact story, but here's what I recall: We bought a '67 Cuda 10 years ago with a 318 block adorned with 273 parts. (Have since swapped in a 340, rendering the 273 stuff superfluous.) There was something about the 273 manifold/carb combo on the 318 block that created some type of height issue with the air filter. That is, the filter wouldn't fit... too tall. So the double base may have been a workaround to create some additional space.

That AFB has a small diameter air horn. Most any different carb will need the base plate with larger hole. So height may not have been the issue.
