Wondering if anyone has used this spring and if it is a true drop in with stock retainers.
This is the MP cam I have and it recommends stock 340 replacement spring that I am using but I plan on replacing. I know the comp 901 spring is a drop in and will work, just looking for a little more spring for a little more rpm. I am running 273 adjustable rockers also.

Advertised Duration 288/288
@0.050" 245/245-
centerline 108
Lift 497/.497
recommended springs P4120249

In my search I came across them as replacement with these specs for the 926 comp spring

130lbs at 1.70 installed height
317lbs at 1.15 valve open

The stock replacement MP springs I have are

90lbs at 1.68 installed height
230lbs at 1.27 valve open

The comp 901 specs

101lbs at 1.65 installed height
242lbs at 1.25 valve open

the comp retainers with 926 spring does give you more installed height. with .497 lift, shorter heights might coil bind. comp 926 shows, 1.750 = 130#, 1.200 = 359 # coil bind is 1.140. comp shows , 500 lift as max for this spring. the 942 spring is a better fit. 1.700 =115 #, 1.200 = 284 #. spring rate is 339 #,

Thanks for the heads up. That maybe the way to go.
