I have a fresh, totally rebuilt 1968 340 V-8 engine for sale. It was built by Jason Grooms Engines in New Richmond, Ohio. He is well known for specializing in building quality MOPAR race engines. This is not a race engine, but built to perform nicely on the street using regular gas without needing any special attention. I'd guess, based on the components that it is around 350 hp. It is bored .030 over & is complete from 650 Holley spread bore carb to oil pan, Offenhauser 360 aluminum intake, MOPAR electronic ignition & wires, windage tray, '72 exhaust manifolds, 2.02 valves, "J" heads, MOPAR Purple Cam P4120231, steel crank, MOPAR starter, wires, most brackets, nice heavy chrome valve covers, thermostat + housing........too much to mention. This is nicer & more complete than any crate engine you'll find on Jeg's. I will keep a couple of the parts (carb, exhaust manifolds) and lower the price proportionately, if you don't want them, but everything else stays together. I'll even include the engine cradle & lift plate. $3,900 pick up only.
Cincinnati area. More pictures available upon request.
Thanks for looking!
