Compression Ratio per Camshaft Size

I ran my current 260/264 565/565 on a 106 solid cam in a 10 to 1 stock stroke 360 and it worked perfectly, street and strip with a tight 8 inch vert(4900 flash)
It’s smallish, but works fine behind my 12 to 1 ish bloomer headed 418 stroker currently with same convertor.
Oddly, the vert doesn’t flash anymore now than it did behind the 360, still 4900
 
I’ve seen that on some dyno tests that the low end torque made by an engine is sometimes, only so great until the cam comes into play. Then it’s watch out!
