We are all here because we are not all there.
Nice, but I would use a differant air cleaner that one looks a little restrictive. LOL

I'm going to try moving it to the hole below. ThanksMight be just the pic, but the cable anchor on the carb lever looks too far away from the centre shaft.....which can cause your problem, unable to get to WOT.
Move the anchor downwards one hole, closer to the shaft. Looks like there are a couple of holes there for that.
I cut the wire sleeve down to about 16" and left it centered in the bracket for adjustmentdid you cut the wire cable a little shorter and then reset it with the allen head screw in the part that bolts to the carb linkage??
Was hoping I didn't have to mess with peddle, gonna try some more adjustments at the carb 1st . ThanksIt's the gas peddle. It doesn't have enough travel. There is part of the peddle bracket or peddle rod you have to bend to get it to work.
Can't get full throttle with my pedal any ideas????
i'm talking about the braided wire cable.I cut the wire sleeve down to about 16" and left it centered in the bracket for adjustment
Got it, the not so great thing about the jegs cable is it only allows the wire to slide approx 3/8" into the anchor. So if I cut it that's pretty much iti'm talking about the braided wire cable.
maybe try it this way. take the braided wire out of the anchor. leave the anchor in the carb linkage. push the carb linkage back so it's WOT, mark the braided wire so it will slide into the anchor an inch or so...cut the wire there and insert it into the anchor, tighten up set screw.
have your other adjustment methods all in the midrange so you can fine tune if needed after cutting the wire..
that ^ method will probably just pull your thorttle pedal up higher inside the car. Try what Bewy said first perhaps. maybe that will get you there...
Are you trying to get more travel at the carb? If so that is the wrong direction. You need to go closer to the shaft.I'm going to try and attach the throttle cable to the mount for the spring return. .I just hope it doesn't excessively wear the cable since it will be on an upward angle View attachment 1715855415
Yes, when the pedal is pinned I need approx another 1/2" for the secondaries to fully openAre you trying to get more travel at the carb? If so that is the wrong direction. You need to go closer to the shaft.
You need to go closer to the shaft or drop it down a hole. Might not get you a half inch but you can try it easily and see.Yes, when the pedal is pinned I need approx another 1/2" for the secondaries to fully open
Looks like my only option is to move it down to the hole I circled . ..going to try it laterYou need to go closer to the shaft or drop it down a hole. Might not get you a half inch but you can try it easily and see.

What brand and heat range plug is that? It looks pretty cold to start with.
Very cold and pig rich.I've been pretty MIA the past couple months between work & other things that popped up but finally got to take the car for a spin. The car feels extremely responsive, pictured below are the plugs after maybe 30min of driving and a few quick blasts. What the concensus on how they are looking?
