I bought new levers on the trans side and found some nice stock Hurst for my shifter. All A body. Everything fits nice. However the reverse shift rod swivel is a larger diameter on the shifter mechanism side. It’s a touch lose on the trans lever but it looks like it’s just wear on the rod itself. The transmission levers are brand new from Brewers. So it’s not that. Just curious if this is correct? It all seems to match up I was just thrown off by that larger swivel side on the Hurst end. Thanks for the knowledge guys.

Aftermarket Super Comp shifters used bushings and some used larger swivel points.. For lack of a better term

It’s a stock shift lever in the Hurst. Has Mopar numbers on it. I’ll post up some pics. Stand by.

See the hole sizes?

Ok ok. I’m a dumbass. The swivel goes on the trans lever side. Holy smokes. Too many hours in the shop. A man has to know when a 16 hour day or honey do’s is enough!!

That’s not it. I had the rod backwards. The swivel goes on the trans side of reverse I’m seeing. First 4 speed. Please forgive.
