With a choice of a Hughes converter, or a Boss Hogg converter., which would you choose? I just need a mild converter for my truck.

Hughes, a thousand times. A boss hog is the illegitimate red-headed stepchild of GER, the single worst high performance part I ever bought.

I've ran both and had no issues with either. I have a 2K stall Hughes for a 904 if you're interested. I needed a higher stall and bought a Boss Hog 3K stall. 65'

Of those 2 Hughes but if you want the "best" made I'd go with Ultimate Lenny is the "man" when it comes to converters!!!

Hughes has some excellent tutorials about converters (and trans) on you tube. The one on stall speed, #5, is particularly good.
I have always used PTC in my performance small block and big block builds.

A couple guys have recommended some of the better converters, but this is just for my pickup truck. Not for racing.
I just have a vibration in the transmission.
Understood. For a truck, there are probably more appropriate options.
