Hi all,
I'm new to this forum and new to classic Plymouth's. I have a nice 1963 convertible signet that I need to replace the top and repair or purchase the header panel and the two most forward ribs. What other a-body's share those parts? I'd rather buy them, than have the original repaired.

I'm having a heck of a time try to free up the top to put it down and remove. Rather than force anything, I've slowly moved things around by hand and liberal amounts of WD, PB and others. I still can't retract it by hand and would hate to break anything. The roll pin that attaches the main frame to the car will not budge. I got the cotter pin out, but the pin is bonded to the frame piece. I got the other one out with a couple of hours of work. If I can get the pin out and remove the frame for repair. Help.

I'm hoping that someone out there has a way to unbond this pin without heat.

I'm not familiar with the early convertibles, but if you post a picture of what you're trying to get apart then maybe we can help.
