I have also kept garden hose spraying on the radiator during break in to keep things cool but it does make a mess of things so use your discretion ( cover face of air cleaner with duct tape )
cooling headache!!!

Good Thought!!!! find a radiator hose with the spring in it or rob one from a hose and install to your existing hose

REPORTING BACK!!!!!!good news and bad news, ok good news is I found out what went wrong with the "overheating"..... I was never over heating my STUPID NEW AUTOMETER electric gauge was bad! grrrrrrrrrr went to the part store got a $20 machaincal gauge the temp never went over 190°. the BAD news is it cost me over $500 to figure it out :-(
machaincal water gauge = $20
