Correct spring rate for QA1 coilovers

Here's some pics for the suspension. Definitely looks like an aftermarket spindle also. Also got a part number on the shock, but couldn't find anything on the spring.

Looks like DR3955B QA1 shock, which takes a 7-9" spring. You probably just need a stiffer spring. You could measure the OD of the spring round stock and call QA1 to see if they can identify the spring for you based on the thickness of the material. Otherwise, get creative with a drill press and bathroom scale, and you could measure the spring rate well enough to identify the spring?

On second thought, maybe try rubbing some of the red overspray off the spring with some carb cleaner. I believe QA1 springs are marked around the outer perimeter. I'd bet they're QA1 springs since they're silver and the shocks are QA1.

I did find the QA1 sticker on the coil, and can barely make out a few numbers beside it. Kinda looks like a 9-400.

That stands for 9" at 400lbs.

Wish I would have seen this sooner. Any race shops in your area? You need to get your car scaled. Just about any racer would have a set of scales or someone that does. They may also know of someone with a spring compression tester, that can tell you your spring rate of your springs. Get your car scaled, and they can help you set your car to a more correct ride height and get the correct spring rate for your car, depending on how you want to use it.
