Getting my ducks in a row to pull engine for rebuild, converter is going to be rebuilt.

Car is a 62 Ply Belvedere. Weight is around 3400lbs. Engine to be built is a 318 4bbl 600cfm, stock stroke, 9.5:1 compression, cam is listed as 264/.450" solid cam ([email protected]") 110LC, 2000 to 5500rpm power range. With headers and 2 1/2" dual exhaust through a pair of Dynomax ultra flows. Rear end gears going in are 3.23. Rear tires are now 24" diameter but would like to get them around 26" eventually. Heads will get a mild street port w/ stock valve sizes.

Transmission is an early 727 with the 19 spline input shaft. Found a builder in San Diego that can rebuild mine as they are somewhat hard to find. I was told I wanted to be in the 2000 to 2400rpm range. Does this sound good with my combo? Not a racecar but a street cruiser.
