I reckon we'd better get used to it...
RIP Elvin,
C

I remember see him "sittin' in" with Mike Bloomfield, Harvey Brooks, and Buddy Miles, during one of the Electric Flag concerts in NY back in the 60's. He was a wonderful blues guitarist. He and Bloomfield could do some bitchin' counter point.

60's! How the hell did I remember that?!?!

He was a guitar playin ****. RIP.

Wow, rough day today. Harry Morgan, Dobie Gray (Drift Away), and now Elvin Bishop.

Great song. RIP Elvin....

Ya know, the singer of that song went on to sing for Jefferson Starship.

thanks for correcting this post.. as I could not find any discussion on the net about Bishops passing

Dobie Gray wrote songs also which I didn't know. RIP

What is funny is that the first time I heard Dobie Gray I was a little kid (about 6 years old) at Norveninch AB in Germany. Then when Uncle Cracker did the re-boot/duet with Dobie Gray, my older daughter really liked it and she looked him up on YouTube.
