Ive looked and tried alot of things for the battery tray and still corrodes like a sumbitch.Anyone know what I can use for the battery tray and holder that is corrosion resistant?

Sandblast it till its clean (gray in color) No rust what so ever or buy a new AMD one. Epoxy prime it and paint it. I never had one go bad.

thinks everyone.Ill try the POR-15,heard its good stuff
@Nuttyprof
It was sprayed with Rhino Liner stuff,still corroded
@440
It is (was) new,and it corroded,even after epoxy and Rhino Liner
Ill sand blast it and try the POR-15

I coated the one on Billy's old '64 Ford tractor several years ago and it's holding up nicely. Gets some flaky white residue on it sometimes but it washes off.

Make sure you do it as per POR instructions. They recommened using thier self etch. I had luck with POR and I also didnt have luck with it. And for the price I believe thier are better products out there.
