Look into dodge vans. I'm not sure what years but I heard a long time ago that some years had an adapter stock. It was just one of those little things that I kind of remember but I'm not 100%.

thats what i was told as well...apparently chrysler got too cheap to make two different columns, so it was the same one for ps and manual steering in the vans with the manual boxes getting the factory coupler, but i think you need the whole box and coupler...only problem is for me to find one of those vans around here is nearly impossible...im wondering if anyone else has done it and if so, maybe they have access to pull another and i can pay em for it?

thanks so far guys!

You do not need a coupler or new column - with the column and gearbox installed in the car you can take a hammer and tap the end of the shaft - it will slide out toward the gearbox - continue untill in is in the correct spot - I have done this to many columns - Chrysler did not make different columns - call if you need help 904-406-2115 Skip

skip you did this with it in the car? and once you did this, did you insert your own pins to connect back the two shafts together (ive been told the shear pins come apart doing this) or you just left it and drove it?
