Crane adjustable rockers

Ran across these on e-bay, CRANE CAMS Rocker Arms 69770-16. I didn't know after-market adjustable rockers existed. Don't need since already have a 273, and these look identical. The interesting thing is they appear to use springs on the shaft to space the rockers. Seems that would allow the rocker to move laterally, which might be bad.

I'd almost bet the actual ratio on those crane arms is better than the 273's.
 
They suck, with the springs they are constantly pushing on the spacer washers, and actually wear on them pretty bad. They are as heavy as the stock ones, and, thinner around the shaft at the bottom, and I have even broke them where they go around the shaft with big springs and fast rate cams.
