im gonna use this intake... becasue its the only intake that lets you switch from magnum heads to LA heads and im just going to port the ports to match the heads becasue i heard they are a little smaller then the RPM intake
The dual mounting is why I went with the Crosswind too and it's a feature Edelbrock should have added to the Air-Gap when it came out. Instead they chose to make two differnent versions and charge approx. $75 more for the magnum version for the simple reason they could get away with it.
I was concerned that the 10.6:1 compression with magnum heads would be too much and I wanted the option to swap on the open chamber heads I have on the shelf without needing to buy another intake.
I have also heard that the ports are slightly smaller but that could be a good thing depending on what your goals are. If only one design was best there wouldn't be low rise dual planes, high rise dual planes, low & high rise single planes, cross rams, dual inline quads, etc.
