PS.
The way I look at it, if the album was before your time frame, that counts because it was "there".
Hey, think "Bullit" in 1968 SFO.
So if by some chance you like Jo Jo Gunne.
Check out Spirit. Very interesting history there. RIP Randy California. A free sprit.

Now thats the stuff im looking for. The radio I put in the Scamp only plays SD cards so I got about 8gb of space :D

I like Steppin Wolf, just about any ZZ top, Zepplin. I'm a product of the time.
So even some Beach Boys, Jan and Dean. How about some Chicago, Blood-
Sweat& tears, BTO( Bachman-Turner& Overdrive).

1974 I was driving a light yellow almost tan 69 Corronet R/T. 440 six pack 4spd dana. Cragers ,slicks and front runners. I was cresting a hill and decided to stand on it and the tires started spinning as the car got light on the crest. There was a Whitehall Cop going the other way as I did this . The chase was on!!. I can remember the highs and lows flashing As were this red lights. The whole time during the chase this song was blasting in the AM/8 track. I will always relive that day when ever I hear this song. Those were the days of the big blocks for me. All brands and they were a blast

See, my problem is and always was if I heard the stuff on the radio over and over and over and over and over and over, well, you get the picture.
Some of the groups listed this thread are one hit wonders (almost).
Maybe you are younger and that doesn't apply??

I saw Golden Earring's drummer fly over the drums at the end of their show.
That was the way they ended their show.
I like this song better then Radar Love and it didn't get the airplay.

I always looked in the cut out bins for stuff that didn't get airplay.
At least not over in America. Try Be Bop Deluxe.
Or for driving music, Status Quo.
Very, very big in England still today.
Only things like Pictures Of Matchstick men got on the radio over here.
And that was in the 60s.

And if you listen to "Classic Rock" radio.......
Who's Next, the album too good for classic rock radio to kill.

Montrose

Well, if you are going to do Montrose, you might as well include Hagar like Montrose himself did.
It was better.
"Ain't it the pits".
It's the bottom of the list
It's all wing tips and double-knits.
It's the pits.
Slip out onto the freeway, down all the gears-
Things were just gettin' heavy when the red light appears.
He said, "Get outta the car, boy."
He put the 'cuffs on my wrist, read me my rights, oh things got intense.
I got 90 days in jail, no one would go my bail, so there I sit.
It's the pits!
When the waist-line slips, 39 inch hips and your pants don't fit.
You're in deeper, you dig into the pit.
Sammy Hagar
