Alright, I completely apologize for the video quality. That said, if you watch it, you can see what I'm doing and how. I hope this helps the helpless.

I figured out what I did wrong after the fact. I had the digital zoom on as well as the manual zoom so it was kinda fighting itself. I agree though, I need something else. I'm open to suggestions.Throw that camera in the trash.
The commentary made it worth watching but the focus (lack of) drove me nuts. The quality was decent when it was in focus so if you figured that out I’d keep and use that one.I figured out what I did wrong after the fact. The lack of focus made it funnier for me. LoL.I figured out what I did wrong after the fact. I had the digital zoom on as well as the manual zoom so it was kinda fighting itself. I agree though, I need something else. I'm open to suggestions.
It certainly can help. Thanks, Charlie! It's still an easy job either way.Another thing that makes it easy is a 1/4 inch wobble extension with a 1/2 inch magnetic socket, or a regular socket with a magnetic insert. I realize not everyone has these, but thought I would mention it.
Thanks for the video Rob.
Sorry you're off the wagon
If you like it, then my mission is complete! lol@RustyRatRod, don'tchya go remaking this video with sharp focus; then there'll be nothing left to whine about!
Srsly: yup, that's how it's done. Slightly tricky, but not difficult if one uses decent-quality tools, adequate lighting, and patient, steady hands.
I would get there before you six times a week and twice on Sunday doing it my way. Fuss around with string? Seriously? lolAn easier way would be getting a piece of string from a sewing machine or whatever. Tie the washer to it on fish in on the stud. Super easy. Then the pull the string off. Love the commentary lol! Although both ways work.
