Do export cars have a higher value? I've found a Cuda that has a KMH speedo that is originally from Mexico (according to the owner). Going to see it tomorrow. Owner is actually moving to China and would like to sell it quickly...
Should have pics tomorrow.

Not really.... unless it is something specific.... Like the Australian cars with the export front ends or an export only option package.....

Yep. A bit unusual, but I haven't seen any real addition to the value. Models built for other countries (as opposed to a US car that was exported) may not have all the safety features as their US counterpart. IF it is already licensed and inspected here in the US then it's probably ok. Otherwise you could have problems with a "gray market" car.

Don't know but a KPH guage is neat cause they go to 200 or something like that. Real head turners.

By the way, guy is asking $5000 for the car.

I wouldn't pay $5,000 for that. I have seen better for $2,000

Everything on that car needs to be redone.... It isn't even a presentable driver. No extra value in that car from being an export. It's just a Barracuda with a different speedometer, non stock seats (Mustang I think), funky (non stock but interesting) console, and home made door panels.

Note... I am bad mouthing this car but it is not a car from out "For Sale" section and is not a members car.

Neither would I. I told him before I saw it I might be able to offer $3500 (which is way over what I can afford right now). I emailed him when I came home today and told him its not worth what my offer was and that I wasn't interested in the car.
The lack of motor pics is because I couldn't even open the hood...afraid its going to succumb to Michigan's weather very soon, sadly.

"funky (non stock but interesting) console"

I wouldn't be so sure about non stock on the console, it could be a Mexico thing, I've seen some odd stuff they have down there.
Not trying to argue but maybe one of the south of the border members will chime in on this one.
