Custom grind cam cost ? ballpark

Anyone had a cam built to order, or reground ? what kind of cost were involved ? Were you happy with how it turned out ?

Ordered mine from Comp. Cost was no different than an off the shelf cam.

Had a roller reground at Delta Cams, Tacoma WA, for around $90. No complaints. Gave them some specs, and no problem.

It all depends on who and what it is. Usually it's around 2-300 unless it's a standard type core (not roller).

good to know- the 340 that used to be in my Duster had a custom ground cam and I alwways wondered about that.
