Just wrapping up on the project and figured I would share what's been going on. Since installing the turbo magnum in the Valiant, the under hood temps are a bit more than what I feel comfortable with. I decided to go with some heat extractors in the hood to help pull the heat out, but look cool at the same time. It took a lot of nerve to actually make the first cut. Not like you can find one of these in states lol. We just painted it today so I don't have any pics of it installed yet, but I will soon.

The painted pics are literally right after it was sprayed. It will have more of a satin finish once it fully cures.

Nice work!

How do you get that hood to clear though? I had a hard enough time getting my air cleaner to clear the hood as it is...

He said its turboed, so the inlets are probably piped into the turbos. Not a conventional air cleaner setup.

Thanks guys. Basically the openings in the hood are just past the radiator and fan. Being turbo charged I didn't really have to deal with a traditional air cleaner since the filter is attached directly to the turbo.

Here is the final product for those waiting. Turned out awesome. Very happy with the decision to chop up a perfectly good hood.
