Now that I have a few miles on this thing and nothing big has fallen off the car I thought I'd share pics of my triangulated 4 link I built over the summer. I used Del-Sphere Pivot joints from Spohn for the uppers and lowers axel side and polyurethane joints for the front lower link. No squeaks or binding at all but I only have a handful of street miles on it. I tried to build it with as much adjustability as possible to make it street/strip friendly and allow me to set the bars for optimal anti-squat at the track. Lower control arm brackets are some nice pieces from Innovative Race Craft. I was able to make the upper arms about 10" center-to-center by mounting the brackets on the back brace and not the top of the axle tube. Regardless, it's all really tight and took tons of mock up before I could settle on a final design. Gas tank had to go with the rear mounted coil overs but it was a worthwhile sacrifice. Front upper brackets I fab'd out of 3/16" steel. The rears are pieces I modified from aa-mfg (great source for inexpensive suspension brackets and parts).

With back half of the car clear of everything I decided to clean it up and
repaint. I put in a Rhodes sumped fuel cell that I built a box for.

Ok that is just plain cool and very nice craftsmanship. To me that is the epitome of hot rodding right there. Admittedly as a racer I have a certain bias towards all things not stock but that is very nice. Well done good Sir!
 
I really like that back brace design of yours. I'm going to have to re-design my 51 GMC triangulated 4 link as the rear differential is from a 4WD Ford Explorer and the gear box is not centered. I've been wanting to re-do that vehicle for years. Thanks for the great idea!

Wow that looks beefy and has a ton of adjustment. I’m about to start the RMS kit install. How’s it feeling on the street?
 
It rides well on the street. I think the springs are a little too light for hitting the corners. They are 110lbs.
 
I added an anti rollbar also. I made one pass at the track recently and it hooks good, goes straight, zero body roll and feels stable at speed.

Man, that is a really nice job that you did ! Well executed and thought out, I love those early "A" bodies. You are talented and a craftsmen, carry on.
