Would it work to cut slots every 2'' on the lip and maybe not cut all the way then bend it up to avoid damaging the wheel well the car was painted last year, and the tire is close to the lip.
Thanks
Mike
If you are not real careful you will crack the paint on the lip,I would recomend trimming it back using body saw(air powered sawsall)something that will not create alot of heat and then touch up paint of the now exposed edge.
i would suggest to cut the lip to about 1/2 " and then install a 3/16 round rod and fold back the lip over it and smooth it out,it works great and looks clean, mrmopartech
Dont bend it at all i F%&$ up my lip from doing that,i had to straightin it out then cut it all off with the Saw,looks great now but it was a pain to do it too times
MIKE
I do this to alot of cars and don,t even have to touch the paint at all.A body man can do this for you and do a great job,a little time and patients works wonders.mrmopartech
