Finally after the whole summer we have began my dads odly optioned 1974 318 DUSTER it has non delux dash, blue interior, Black seat belts , A/C, Powe steering, Power Breaks and last the first A body we have had with rear defrost..... anyways we have alot to do but we have began with the interior fixing the floors and getting them ready for SUB FRAM CONNECTORS and a donor floor from a CALI dart sport anyways enjoy

what else do I need for the rear defrost?

Is that just the vent on top ? There should be a vent defuser underneath mounted to the rear deck and a blower motor there as well.... wiring and a switch to the dash. Thats all I am aware of.

I think there are 2 different styles of blower units - one that has a hose that connects from the air out on the blower to the plastic plenum attached to the vent and the other style is self-contained in that no hose or vent is needed. Don't have the 1st style but do have the 2nd.

Keep up the great work you are doing. She needs a bit of surgery right now but you are well into bringing her back. Great pics and keep em' coming.
 
Great job so far. If the torsion bar mount is that heavily rusted you might want to replace it now, rather than later.

Ya its actully not that bad it will get fixed though, and petty I sent u a pm thanks evreyone else

got the donor car back home today glad to see the floor is still in great shape CHOP CHOP time was a 1973 dart sport slant car

well we are finished with the parts car so we FINALLY got the duster into the garage and started tare down

PROGRESSSSSS! Well got over to my parents house at about 8pm last night and decided to get some work done on the duster got the front windshield trim off the quarter windows removed and got the old rusted torsion bar cross member removed and test fitted out the new one now we will roll the car outand sand blast the whole inside of the car and time for the new floor to be put in
