I may have damaged the brass tube seat in one or more of the KH calipers I'm rebuilding. I bottomed out some 3/8-28 bolts I was using to plug the inlet while pumping grease to remove stuck pistons. Anyone ever replaced one these? I'm pretty sure replacement seats are available but figured I'd ask before delving into the matter.

Just screw a longer sheet metal screw into the tube seat, and put a plyer, or vice grip, under the head and then hammer it up, and out.
As far as finding a source for tube seats, good luck with that.
Not easy finding a source for them.
At one time, i needed one or two of them, for a pair of calipers that i was rebuilding, and couldn't find any.
A member on this forum had some in his personal stash of parts, and sent me two of them.

I have never done this on a KH caliper but I have on a Master cylinder. take a screw that will tighten into the seat and pry it out or an easy out might do it too. I have removed seats and been able to reuse them.

Dana67Dart, although this forum thread was a few years ago, here is one source for brass tube seats.
