Damaged ignition switch?

My cylinder assembly freely pulls out of the ignition switch regardless of what position it's in. The pin seems fine on the cylinder, but it looks like the switch is damaged where the pin is supposed to seat.

Ignition switch housing is bad. Time for a new switch if you want the lock cylinder to stay attached.
 
I got in a replacement and swapped it out. It was a beast to get the nut off. They knew it was broken. They tried to use some kind of epoxy to keep in in there. That's why it was so hard to get out, but we're good to go.
