Ok the bolts that hold the backing plates on. Were can I find a source for them? Also is there a gasket or anything between the ends and backing plates?

Does anyone have a exploded view on assemble of this area?

Josh, I think they are 3/8" 24, but I am not positive. They are the same as the 8 3/4. Yes, there is a gasket between the plate and the housing end from the factory. I think it is a foam piece. Most people just leave it off, but I always replace them or use silicone.

Just called strange and they told me I need a 3/8ths x 1 7/16 but the guy said they were T Bolts is that what yall use?

Yup those are the right ones. It has a head shaped like a T because there's not enough room on the back side of the flange for a standard bolt head.

Year One, Brewer's....somewhere like that.

I wonder after talking to Crackedback. Would using regular bolts and grinding them to fit would work.

What grade bolt should I use? We have plenty Grade 5 and 8 sources in town here.
