Fellows I recently pick up a Dana 60 with a spool and Richmond gear set. I tried the google machine and cannot seem to reference the part number. Do you by chance have an old part number catalog for the gear set pictured?

There's an 80- number after the Richmond logo. What is that number Denis? I cannot make it out.

9 teeth on pinion and 41 on ring gear. 41 divided by 9 is 4.56 does sound right? If so I am over joyed, I have a ratted out 67 barracuda I may build with a 360 tunnel ram, the rear is 49.5” wide, I’ll do the 3” inboard conversion on the leaves. I also have 10x15 welds that I’ll put a 28” drag radial on. Might just work out good.

Yup. That is correct.

Rob, it’s 80-7326 I’ll count the teeth when I get home today.
They used SOME numbers that had the ratio in the number. If that was one of those, the last three would be the ratio, 3.26, but as you've already found out, it's a 4.56 gearset. That's a good gear. Run a 28" tall tire and it'll help cut the effective ratio a little.

Drag racing theory to which I prescribe: run the tallest tire that will fit on the car. Given a choice, taller is better than wider (depending on rear gear.)
