dana sure grip

Dana 44 (from the marks on the carrier) 30 spline Limited Slip carrier. I don't know what it came out of. The numbers on the carrier are: 5 12 0 A, 22017X, NC30755 N A R 1 X, 44 AUTO.............. does anybody know if this dana fits in the 8 3/4 housing.

I doubt it will fit. The internal gear kit is the same as an 8 3/4. I think everyone would already be using them if they fit; instead of hunting for the old ones.
