Danica Patrick Confirms: NASCAR Full-Time In 2012

As far as driving, she's got 3 top 10's in the 7 races she's ran this year. After running in only 7 of 20+ races she's still ranked 27th. So as far as her record, I don't think she'll have a problem. It's not like one day in her adult life she decided to become a race car driver, she's been doing since she was a kid. Just like most other drivers she started in go karts. If she was a guy with the same record and experience, no one would be saying anything.

whats driving got to do with it

NASCAR needs something to fill all those empty bleachers and unsold seasonal seats. It's gone downhill in the last several years - whether its the economy, bulls@#t rule changes so Jr. can win a title, or crappy looking COT.

The last race at Talladega they moved my seat!!! They bunched us up so it would look like it was sold out (kind of sort of) rather than being open seats everywhere. I like NASCAR but the economy and some of the changes NASCAR has done has put a hurting on ticket sales.
 
Well will see how she does in the Long Run.Been a few women tried NASCAR in Truck Series and now Danica in Nation Wide Series.For how long till she too might fade away as all the others have done.None yet run with the Big Dogs year after year on Sundays.Put kyle Busch in the wall.Have a Cat Fight in the Pits with another driver.Danica punches Kevin Harvick in the face.Tell the Guys like DW,Larry,Kyle move over on pre-race show.Maybe will happen after its Mrs President.Danica putting Kyle Busch in the wall,who will be cry like a girl.
 
Yeah and I think I'll run the Boston Marathon next time. Will they let me hire someone to run beside me with my beer and cigarettes! Or should I get jogging pants with a cooler built in the legs

This is the part of your statement I disagree with. Nobody can argue with her record. It's fact. What's also fact is she is a sore loser. She is a crybaby. She throws temper tantrums. Our children already have enough bad role models. They don't need one more. I'm so sick of these sports figures that get paid millions and then whine and ***** because they don't win or get their way, blame it all on the other guy and take zero responsibility or blame for themselves. That part of her is unfortunately also fact as well.

I have been a NASCAR fan for a long time now, I have seen plenty of cry babies over the years in the sport.. cry babies and hot heads.. Stewart and Harvick deserve to be on the list.. and yeah Danica is a bitchy cry baby, and a sore loser.. but it isnt just NASCAR, I have seen the same types of sore losing, bitchy sports stars in plenty of the other big professional sports.. its just the way it is I guess.. but I dont care what anyone says, shes still smoking hot... I mean Anna Kournikova wasnt much of a tennis player, always complained, blamed her poor performance on everything imaginable.. but lord was she fun to look at... LOL ...

Oh.. and of the drivers you mentioned.. and the drivers I have followed over the years.. Kyle is still the biggest cry baby by far...
 
Kyle just cain't f$%$ing drive. It's like the Petty driving gene skipped a whole generation. I swear I think any of us could out drive him with a week's worth of practice. What a nimrod he is.

You think that if she was a guy they'd be just as much publicity on her(or I should say him)? You don't get this much press on every new driver, especially the ones that don't drive as good as she does. And as far as being a sore loser, crybaby, and throwing temper tantrums....you just described a whole lot of other drivers and sports figures. So I still stand by my statement about if she was a guy she wouldn't be scrutinized as much as she is.

What i read in business news is Danica is a marketable product.Brings big bucks to NASCAR.But that will wear off in short time if she can't produce wins or top spot finishes.As hard as NASCAR tries to get away from it's roots,the more they shooting their self in the foot.Fans love to see wrecks,scrimmages,
temper tantrums,fights,pay backs.Bobby Allison and Cale Yarbrough.Just like hockey.But whats old is drives holding their energy drink,coke or pepsi.Yeah yeah yeah.
