I have a 75 Dart Swinger. I wanna buy some whitewall tires to go on stock wheels. What tires have you purchased in the past that you were happy with?

Not much choice of manufacturers unless you go to one of the specialty places and pay a huge price. I wanted US made, but no one had them so I had to put Hankooks on my Valiant.

So far I have found this

Check out the Cooper Trendsetter, I was looking into these a couple years ago. They made a 1" whitewall (not the ghetto-wide style).

hi batesy!
i have hankook optimo h724 (185 75 14) on my lancer and really like them. i also have hankook on my subaru daily driver as well. i remember doing research on tires, and probably asked around as well, and there were a lot of positive things said about these korean tires.
plus, they were reasonably priced and i like the simple thin white band (my photo below is when i still had the redline bias plys on the car).

I just bought these WW's for my Mazda B2000, great 70000 mile tire at $67 price tag at Wally Mart. Man the ride is soft with 25 psi (out the door at Walmart tire!!) I put 40 of their 44psi rating in and its still a nice ride. Wonder if I can grind the whites wide like some other tires? The other whites were 40K rated and about the same price. Made in Indonesia, but they are building a plant in Tennessee for those who buy USA made.
