Following. Any more pictures of how you converted the tail?
Would you be interested in selling the tail lights from the 67?

Ran into a snag. Built a "mock" block & intake to install in the convertible to fit the shaker to the hood, and found out I had ordered the wrong shaker base plate. Apparently there is stock @ 6.25" on center, stock with Edelbrocks @6.75" on center (which is what I have) and one called Edelbrocks on a Stage 5 which is @ 8.75" on center. So, they'll take the wrong one back, but wow, is the correct one spendy.

I love your build and will follow it. 426, wow. Im planning to fab in a Shaker on my 68 340 Notch. Big challenge. So far ive found OEM style set up at shakerhood.com $2k...or a fiberglass version from Danko I think he quoted $880. Where did you get your Shaker/ parts? Already I can see my firewall and wiper motor are likely intrusions. Keep up the great job!
 
Some updates on the Hemi shaker hood. Bodywork is just about done. Lots of sanding to go

No shaker or Hemi but here is some inspiration to keep you going. Looks like you and I have somewhat of the same idea!!! Next week motor goes in.

I like it! Makes me kinda want to put a shaker on the 318 in my 65 valiant! Hmm...
 
Damn, that's gonna be a badass ride! Love the updated color combo, your original idea was too much black IMO, and yes, black really is a ***** to keep clean.
 
Backend with some B5 paint on it and the engine compartment. Note the clearancing for a hemi on the right inner fender. I'll be installing a modified wiper system, inside, under the dash.

Mine has come along also. Here’s something to keep you motivated!!! Unfortunately when I fired my motor up I had issues. Pulled the motor Monday and had to tear it down completely as I found an oil passage was clogged and no oil to crank, cam brgs and drivers side lifters and rockers. OUCH
