I been tire kicking darts on Facebook Marketplace all over the US and it seems like prices have increased dramatically along with collectability. Kinda of nice to see the A body stuff getting recognized. Even the 4 door cars are increasing in desirability.

Just bought this 68 GT unmolested one for 6K just because of increasing prices. Needs restored but worth it to me

When all the prices increased for the B &E bodies the A bodies were becoming attractive to people that wanted a muscle car, but didn’t want to pay big dollars, I have a 68 GTS H-Code big block car that 5 or 6 years ago may go for 18-20k now I bet I could get 30-35k.

Price seems high but they are climbing and i dont want to hunt for 1 later so just bit the bullit. Jesse

Even beakers are climbing but I consider it to be more inflation

They can ask whatever they want. I have heard FABO members complaining about the asshat lowballs they keep getting. I wonder how many of the high pricers are actually getting sold?

I know some dealers are getting into the vintage market, but along with that are financing plans. Not sure how many folks are dropping 35k from their pockets.

I'm always checking, buying sometimes and just rubbernecking other times. Prices are definitely up this past year. Seeing a-bodies in b-body prices of a year ago. I'm looking for something for next summer as my Charger will be "out of order" for a lot of next year and the prices are up there. I thought they were just shooting high but they seem to be selling.

Pries vary a lot by location. Cheaper in Ok Ks MO Ar than Tx. I could have bought a 74 Dart 2 door in Ok other day for $1200 a roller but solid. NO title. Bargain! But only decent one I have seen in month!
I an advertise a nice car with tons of parts and work invested, at a fair price, slow sell here always. But Tx is a truck and GM state too.

Personally I’m just buying parts and cars planning my retirement plan to keeping busy. On top of all this I’m having a 42x96 shop built in March,April for all of this as well. Plus those prices of shops are all increasing as well.

Build one for me!!

It's interesting that the high end cars aren't as hot as they were a few years ago. The Barrett-Jackson syndrome jacked those prices way up for a few years. The obtainable/affordable cars, like our A bodies, are becoming more popular and worth more money. Restored or nice original 340 cars easily bring around $20 grand+ and are a bargain if you can't afford $50,000+ for a Roadrunner or Bee.

I see some of these cars on BJ and think you couldn't build that car for twice that price.
 I am impressed with most of the Mecum Auctions. You can buy some decent iron for reasonable prices.
