My 73 dart swinger, original paint in rough-ish shape. Needs some work on the body. Fairly beefy 360/999 and peg leg 7 1/4, but soon to be 8 3/4. Was originally going for a sleeper look, but that didn't happen because it sounds a bit too mean LOL.
Picked this one up last year. Sat out in a "barn" without a roof for 15 years. 318, front KH discs, 8 3/4 with 3:23 sure grip. HD suspension. Took a lot to get it on the road, but is now a driver. 2nd pick is where the car sat.
Here's the 68 GTS 340 I've had since 88. It's an original numbers matching un-molested car. I've had it on jack stands for 25 years while kids and work took more of my time. Getting it running again was pretty simple and I'm in the process of cleaning it up ready to drive again. I am the third owner. The car was originally purchased in Maine. I've talked to the grandson of the original owner and he told me that it had been on jack stands then for quite some time before the second owner bought it. The odometer reads 47+ k miles but the car has been repainted on some panels. No damage that I have found so I assume the paint just got rubbed off. I know for the few years I drove it I waxed it too much and stopped when too much paint came off. The original factory paint job, where it still exit, pretty well sucks. I'm currently fighting with the urge to do a restoration. I hate to disturb it's original state but I don't want it to rust away eventually. BTW the center piece in the pictures wasn't original. I bought two of them 30 years ago and have long since sold both of them. The spare tire is an original red line that has not been on the car.
I JUST PICKED THIS CAR UP LAST FRIDAY!!! This is my first Mopar. I think I'm in love.
