Here are some pics of my new 15" steelies, running a 245/60/15 in the rear on 15X7's w/5" of backspacing. The fronts are 15X5.5's running 205/60/15, I had a pair of 215/65's on the front but they rubbed when turning so I had to down size. Let me know what you think.

SWEET! I just mocked up a 245/60 15 on my 71 this afternoon. I guess thats the biggest you can squeeze on there. Mine went on using 15x7 cop car rallies with 4.25 backspacing. I used Yukon BBP axles in a stock a body 8.75 housing.

I think it looks great. I love the look of stock steelies but then I'm partial to them since my 70 B5 dart has painted steelies with dog dish hubcaps also. If it's not those then custom vintae mags are the way to go over ralleys and magnums IMO.

By the way, you guys are killing me with the nice weather pics. Today it's 19 degrees and there is a 40 mph steady wind. I just got inside after doing some cleanup I HAD to do. I'm warming up some spiked cider as we speak.

We had a rainy morning but it cleared up to about 65 this afternoon. Sorry to hear about the 19!! Damn!

Thanks guys, as for the weather its a beautiful day today in Houston 49* and not a cloud in the sky!

Nice! I am also using Yukon BBP axles in a stock A-bod housing. For some reason I couldn't get the tires under the car using a stock 15X7 steelie, you could barely fit a peice of paper between the tire sidewall and the fender lip.
