70 Duster, rallye dash. Right side of lights light, left side doesn't. Anything easy to check other than grounds, got a couple temporary ones hooked up right now. Bulbs are good

Clean the contacts would be a good place to start. Check the back of the gage assembly to see if it is in good condition

Connections are good.
And this may be a dumb question, but where does the left side of the dash get its power? Looks like the right and left side instruments are isolated from each other, with only a three pin connector (red/orange/yellow wires) that could power the left side. Assuming red is power, if I have the dash lights on shouldn't I have 12v at that wire?

the three pin connects to right hand circuit board and there is a round connector that plugs in on the left circuit board. Two separate systems. The speedo lighting comes from the 3 pin connector. You will not have a full 12 volts if the dash light dimmer on the headlight switch is turned down. It all grounds through the dash frame. Pic is of board behind amp, oil, fuel and temp gauges.

Dash lights are powered by the orange wire with the sockets grounded to the cluster housing.

Ok, from that and searching other threads/sites, am I correct that power comes through the headlight switch, orange wire to fuse box then orange to cluster? As the headlights work the switch is getting power. If the fuse is good, suspect the switch? I'll be checking it all tomorrow.

Thx!

Still looking for thoughts. Orange wire has power. Here's a pic of the circuit board. Obviously been "repaired" before. The middle pin is the orange one. Is this repairable? And if so how.

Someone soldered 2 pins and didn't go ahead and ad a dab of solder to the center 1. Why? Beats me. I would have to assume it is a loose questionable connection also.

Would that fix it? If I do that, is there a way I can test it before I install it?

If you have power to the orange wire there, just a dab of solder might very well fix it. Test outside the car... Attach 9 volt battery or other DC power supply, ground to the pot metal housing, pos' to that center post.
