Dash pad removal

I cant get my upper dash pad off the dash frame. Im down to the last two bolts on the sides but the heads are sunken into the sheet metal and I cant get a wrench or socket on them. I dont want to remove the windshield to take out the dash frame. What can I do.

Those 2 on the sides use a different socket . 1/4 inch I think. Maybe you knew that already If I couldn't get a sharp edge socket to catch the screw head I would try to pull it on through the hole in the dash. Small flat washers would be needed at re install.
 
Redfish is right about the end screws being smaller. If the photo is of your dash, I recommend a Dremel tool to grind/cut the head off. The dash looks pretty well traumatized, too. Once the pad is off you can make repairs. Using a washer is a great idea.
 
I pried it off with a screwdriver. There are some nasty cracks on the corners, will this hurt recovering?
