Thinking of painting my dash bezel myself in my 68 barracuda (dont want to spend the money for after market or send out right now) has anybody tried it themselves using the chrome paint? Its a lot of detail masking off. If anybody has any pics of ones they've done themselves I like to see them

Here's mine........I decided to go ahead and send it out and have
it re-done after I painted it myself.

Tony did you paint the silver and black and they did the chrome? I just want to paint the bezel not do the gauges. who did the work?

They did it all. They stripped off all of the paint down to the plastic
and then restored it.

CV Platers in Canada did the work......excellent quality!

Here's their site:

How much was it? I JUST got a rally dash for my Duster today from Ebay... All the chrome is gone, possibly stripped by the previous owner? Not sure, but i picked it up for 40 bones.. I see these things with the gauges going for over $400 :wack:

EDIT: Okay, I checked it out.. yikes, that was more than I thought it would be.... But I'm sure it's worth it!
