recently i scraped a 273 engine out of 65 s cuda.
when i pulled the dist. it had duel points.
i was wondering how long chry.actually used duel point dist.

That is part of the Formula S package. I have just rebuilt one! I want to go pertronix, but they don't have a kit for the dual point. Anyone know how to modify or rebuild a dual point as a single point? i want to star stock looking.

The prestolite dual point was used in several performance engines until electronic pickup became standard equipment. 1972 maybe, not sure.
Do you still have the altenater bracket from the 65 273 ? It has a hole through it for the dipstick tube. I want one to play with.
