So I dropped by again and took some more pics, I forgot to pick up a can of PB blaster:violent1:, but he is open till noon Saturday so I will drop by on Sat and coat the heck outta some stuff. The 72 dodge truck in my prev thread didnt have an 8 3/4 in it like I was hoping. I did find an empty 8 3/4 housing(truck I believe) I didnt take a tape measure either:banghead:
I dont think he is going to be as cheap as I was hoping.....but Im hoping to do a "bundle" to get a good price on stuff, so if you see something you need, lemme know, but keep in mind shipping is from Canuckistan and may be pricey for larger items.

hmmmm thats a strange cast altenator bracket with the dipstick going through it........i know thats early...is that a poly 318?

I agree Rani, I love trudging around looking for anything. You gotta make sure to look in brand "X" as well cuz they just put the stuff wherever they want. That alt bracket is different eh?? I have seen them before, but not often thats why I took the pic. Lots more pics, but I gots to get ready to go to work. Yes me thinks I need to make a list of tools that I can put in my "purse" LOL

Steve, how are the tail lights and the chrome pot metal housing panels along the rear of this 64 Dodge Polara? These are really hard to find, you should get them to re-sell, might get a bunch for them :glasses7:

273 LA had that alternator bracket before 67. It isn't cast either, all welded steel. One of the few parts I could recognize.

And if you get in an arguement over parts with someone else, you can hit them with your purse....

LOL!!!

Or is it one of those European "Man bags?"

Is that poly alt bracket something I should grab?? Dont wanna grab it if no-one could use it as it looks pretty complete under the hood....Ah I may as well grab it next time I am there....more pics

If this is any indication of value I would say the bracket isn't worth much. These engines show up here fairly often for $200 and less but just remain on CL unsold. They get listed for a couple of months and I guess the sellers give up.
