Day 2 Steering wheels for the A body's (70's) what was it?

This is turning into a good thread beyond the Steering wheel lol.... I love me some old school mods. Please by all means post pics of what you have done to replicate the good ol' days....

I loved my old Superior 500 but the tech guy at the track said it was too small. So now it lives on my golf cart and a stocker lives on my Duster!

I've got a similar looking wheel for my red car, but since interior room for the driver is cramped (I'm 6'3") it's got a flat spot on the bottom for leg clearance, lol.
My problem finding a wheel was to get both the diameter AND the dish correct so I can squeeze between the wheel and the roll cage door bar. Not an easy fit! Not sure how many years I'll be able to do the gymnastics getting in and out. A swing-out bar could be in the long-range future!

My Opel is the car with the flat spot steering wheel, and it does have a swing-out bar. But my car makes an A-body seem roomy, and I'm already sitting on the floor in it. (Well, the seat is mounted to the floor, is what I meant, lol) My Tina was so much taller, it felt like it had lots of room, though it's a tiny car too.
As for the o.p.'s question, any proper colored (or metalnflake) three-spoke Grant would have been a perfect day two wheel.
Edit: forgot to mention, the steering wheel is on a quick disconnect. With the bar and the wheel out of the way, even I can get in it.

Superior "The 500" was put in my 67 soon after it was new.
I found an nos wheel wrap and put it on, feels like 1967 plus 1 day.
I collect them now, and have put them in a few cars.

Actually, there were no day 2 steering wheels. We were too busy spending our $$ on headers. cams, wheels, gears, carburetors etc. etc. And let's not forget the whiskey and girls!

I've got a Grant (style) wheel on my b body. Probably a knock off, was wood color but I recently broke it jumping in the car in a hurry (car was rolling forward but I wasn't in it!).
I fixed it, sanded it, stained it black and varnished it. I much prefer the look now.
