Miners cabin by the lake. If you look close at the last two photos you can see a couple Rocky Mountain goats

Got a little rough closer to the top. Wife was driving, hit the skid plate in a couple spots.

Kinda looks like a trail that the wife and I have done a couple times. Takes off just above Georgetown, and continues till your above timberline. Haven't done that one in years.
What was the altitude?
We were above Georgetown. This one is back by the camp grounds about half way between Georgetown and Grant.
We were up above the tree line so it was in the 13,000- 14000 foot range. Air was thin for sure. We hiked up to an old mine shaft, and dang near took me out, had to rest a lot. Almost forgot the pics of the old mine shaft.

Took a little time off to go camping. At the base of Mt Princeton, we’re at about 9-10 thousand feet. Mt Princeton is a little over 14k.
Went out for a drive.
We drove up to Hancock pass. These thing were everywhere.
The other side is an old rail route.

Went down to the Comanche grass lands in southeastern Colorado yesterday.
Thanks, beautiful country. Been Southwest and went to Mesa Verde, then Cortez and Four Corners. Again, thanks for the pictures!
