Rani...two cool old nascar movies are Fireball 500 and Redline 7000. Both made in the mid '60's and both feature tons of old Ford's Chevy's and mostly Dodges and Plymouths. Filmed at a time when moonshine was run during the week and racing was done on the weekends. And when the biggest sponsor was the manufacturer and engine size. Both are a bit campy but suprisingly well filmed for the day.
For the ultimate racing moving get the remastered version of Le Mans. Porsche 917 was the most radical race car for its day as its drivers were scared to drive it down the Moulin straight at 240 mph on bias ply tires.
