So a little while back I picked up a 72 duster 225 nothing to special but the car has the original car dealership emblem still on it. Just curious if anyone else also has A bodies with dealers emblems or pics of some

Here the dealership sticker that my grandmother bought it from new. When I restored the car (included a paint job) a few years ago, I stopped by the dealership to pick up another sticker. The dealer changed their logo/design sometime in the late '80's but they still had some old stickers.

Here's one from the '70 Dart I picked up from the original family just outside Philadelphia, Pa. last summer! Grew up in the area, and Jenkintown is in the Philly suburbs!

72 340 swinger special. If you look closely you can see the tiny pentastars in the centre of the O's. Crosstown dealership is in Edmonton.

Glad to catch your thread, I just took my project to the body shop on Friday to get an estimate. I would have never given that sticker a 2nd thought, or got a pic before i sanded it off.

The tail panel on my Barracuda had holes drilled into it for a dealer emblem, but it was long gone. A previous owner added the "Marshall" piece and after I owned it for a few months, I discovered that Marshall was a popular music amplifier. I'll keep it to hide the drilled holes. Only one person correctly guessed what it was!

Thats awesome! Leave it there

I bought a 75 Valiant that had a Bear Bryant Motors emblem on it. He owned it for a while when coaching here in town

I wouldn't mind finding one from the dealership my Scamp came from in San Diego CA. But I don't think there in business anymore.

I may add dealership emblems from Austria.
The dealership TARBUK was in the 60s and early 70s the exclusive importer of Mopar products.

I dont remember seeing dealer plates and stickers much here in socal. Most of the dealer i.d.'s i saw were license plate frames. Thats how i remembered which of my parents and grandparents cars came from which dealer. Ive still got a couple, but the one i want for the 55 chevy my dad bought new...i cant find.

I don't think California ever really did the dealer emblems and stickers.

Actually the only one I can think of that does it is Carmax.
