Looking for good recommendations for replacement drum shoes. The ones I snagged from local oreillys (brakebest select 329) have no stud for the e brake mechanism.
Dear drum shoes 9” drum, 7 1/4” duster

You have to knock the stud out and install it in the new shoe.

Interesting. Woulda thought the replacement hardware would come with a new stud.
Some do and some don't. They all should, but you know how that goes.

The Centric shoes I got for my ‘65 Dart had the little stud:
I knocked off studs because the original shoes didn’t use them. Is it safe to assume there is a spring that is supposed to connect the studs to something on later models?
