is there some way to decode a 63 model v200 Valiant /6 ?
This decoder here at FABO just go's back to 64.
in the general discussion area look at the "help again" thread by memike.
And take a peek at this dandy one owner I ran up on at a rummage sale.
I would really appreciate any help from yall here in to the early A bodies thread, Thanks for your time and opinion 8)

Brother helped me and wrote the vin down as 1837116814
 
Don't know if this will help, but it looks to me like you have found a 170 Slant 6, Torqueflite equipped, radio delete, '63 Valiant 200 sedan with add on air conditioning. Rear gear was a 3.23 with the 170 slant and automatic. Hope this helps.
 
Yes it sure douse !! I was wondering if it was a 225 or 170.
The add on a/c is from sears , It is on the face plat of the a/c unit.

I cant totally recall Mike but I think something was said as to deck height under the thermostat housing. It was a long time ago and I am too lazy to search the threads. lol
