330 code means it was an Oldsmobile motor! Before the starts....it's a joke because I have no idea! My mom used to have a Slowsmobile with a 330 motor though.

My first car...'64 Olds Cutlass with 330" V8.
The same year as the first 442. Except mine was a '221' (2 barrel, 2 speed transmission, single exhaust).

AFAIK the decoding of the specific build specs is still being hunted down.

IIRC Alaskan TA was collecting tag info to CID correlation, but the actual blueprinting (pistons/compression, over/undersize etc) of the actual builds is still a mystery.

It could be a replacement engine for the ta/aar you talked about but is it a real TA engine? Tomorrow will tell. Take photos.
